RE: [alfa] hissing brake booster



Darrell,

You might want to look at 'O'ring seal between the master cylinder and the
booster.  It could be that whenever you press on the brake it could flex the
joint enough to break this sealing surface and allow the leak.  Make sure
the 2 nuts holding the master cylinder to the booster are tight.  This seal
is easy to replace and can be found at any parts store.  Other than that I
would suspect that the booster is bad.

understanding how a lot of things work - I could waste a lot of time at this
