[alfa] FISPA Device instead of alternative Spica fuel pump?

I took the FISPA device, which I'm assuming to be a pressure regualtor, and 
installed it on the output side of the injection pump in the '73 
berlina.  Before the installation, the Berlina's fuel pressure light would 
come on with the ignition and never go off;  after FISPA device 
installation, the pressure light goes on for a second then goes off - 
engine not started in either case.

The Berlina starts, idles and revs fine, and the fuel pressure light stays 
off.  However  this is a static test in the garage and I didn't drive or 
road rest it.  The fuel pump buzzes normally, not labored (as when the 
output fuel line is totally pinched off).

Unfortunately it is pouring rain, and Easter dinner is on the table.  More
