Hi Greg,

1bar is 100kPa which is equal to 14.5 psig.
1 standard atm = 1013.25millibar = 101.325kPa which equals 14.69psig.
So as the difference is very small, about 1%, less than the width of the needle on a
typical gauge, the two values are for all intents and purposes interchangable.
