Monty...
  You don't want to mount them to the floor....will compress your spine in
the event of a collision.....must be mounted parallel to the floor or, at
the most, 30 degrees lower......get long shoulder harness and mount it to
the top of the rear seat [with a proper reinforcing plate, of course]
