RE: [alfa] RE: alfa pistons.

I was under the impression that Borgo was bought out by AE. The last two or
three sets of pistons and liners that I bought came in blue and white AE
boxes as opposed to the dark red Borgo boxes.

Or is this a new development and AE has discontinued the Alfa stuff as it is
a fairly limited market? Wouldn't be the first time something like this has
happened ... big guy buys little guy and then discontinues the product ...

Thats what I have been told, Borgo have stopped making piston and liner
sets. This is not good however forged pistons will always be available but
expensive.

I just bought a set of Spider pistons and liners for a customer and have a
set of 2.5 pistons on my shelve.
