[alfa] T fitting
James asked about the T fitting in the heater hose of his 69 Berlina.
Your T fitting sounds non-stock. Injected cars don't have a T fitting
there, although Weber cars did, to tie the heater hose to the water outlet
at the rear of the intake manifold. Your car was converted to carbs, right?
The stock Weber-style T fittings are metal, probably steel. So check on
Duettos, 1600 GTVs, and Giulia Supers for that part. I had to make up a
similar thing once in an emergency for my wife's BMW 535i, and found a
variety of copper and plastic T fittings at a hardware store.
