[alfa] The imoprtance of being Earnits (was: ES/SZ chassis)
After Michael Smith wrote that "The European Milano was badged the 75", Beatle Bayly replied "Ummmm......No ! The US 75 V6 is badged Milano. Subtle but very imoprtant difference."
An equally imoprtant difference may be equally apposite. There never was either a "US 75" or a "European Milano". The 162B was badged 75 for the World (non-USA) markets and badged Milano for the US market (and the 162C was badged SZ, the 162D badged RZ, and the 162A badged 90). The 164 was then badged 164,(!) and the 167 was badged 155 (?).
Why? Why not? Subtle is as subtle does.
