[alfa] nadir Spiders on way up?

Howdy, Folks!

>There's a 79 Spider on ebay that's at $8,000 (21 bids) with three hours to

There was an 83 Fiat 2000 spider on ebay a few weeks ago that hit
15,300.00, and get this, it did _not_ meet reserve! I think the price
wasn't the only thing that was high, or, possibly, when you see outrageous
bids like this, one begins to theorize shill bidders....

> Highest price for one of these I've seen in a
>long time, if not ever

"Nadir" spiders going up? I suspect merely naive bidders swayed by shiney
paint caught up in foolishness. Any way you slice it, it's still a
smog-mobile.

BTW, AB 2683 passed the assembly 47-28, which, even if it's just politics
as usual, doesn't portend of good things to come. Like social security,
I'll believe in the 30 year rolling exemption when I receive the benefit,
and, historically, as goes California, so goes the USA.

'79 spiders increasing in value? Maybe, but I wouldn't buy one....
