I was talking with Leo from Cardisc some months back about converting
the manuals to PDF format . I believe when he startef he was using a
program that did all the cool menu stuff as well and that is where the
pic extension came in. He did not do it to be difficult or weird :)
Anyway I converted the whole mcgilla ( for the 164 anyway) to PDF I
used graphic converter a free program for the Mac to convert the files
into tiff. I then used acrobat to make it into a pdf document. I found
that the intermediate tiff format was much better quality than trying
to go straight to pdf withing graphic converter.
