[alfa] GTV6 turns into out-a-balance washin' machine...

...but now it sounds like a maytag dryer!

well, after a spirited drive last weekend the "low mileage" gtv6 sounded like an
out-o-balance washin' machine doin' a load of chain-mail! OUCH!! it had been makin'
some very strange whirring noises along with some whistlin' sounds lately.

that throw-out bearin' i'd had tucked away for 12 or 14 years came in handy this week -
luckily i'd stored it properly. it had been replaced tryin' to eliminate an errant
driveshaft noise to no avail maybe 200k (s)miles back. now my driveshaft is smoother
than it's been in a long while and even the clutch feels better. even though the double
disk clutch has seen a 120k of service, it looked good and went back in.

ah, the joys of a high mileage gtv6,
