My Milano has ABS maladies caused by disuse (the car sat for several
years).
I am contemplating, after several attempts to remedy the situation,
switching to standard brakes. Is the pedal box (mount) from a GTV6
compatible with the Milano firewall?

No, it is not.  You must obtain a pedal box from a Milano Silver or Gold,
and if you wish to retain your cruise control kick-down swith function,
you'll have to swap the clutch pedal lever from your existing box to the
replacement; difficult but doable.
