[alfa] Re: 164 Receiver dryer/pressure switch

My Alfa mechanic is a very good automotive AC man (he got my 
Tropic-Aire system in my GTV-6 running and changed over to R-34 after 
it had been completely disconnected and partially dismantled for over a 
decade). He said that 12 V aircon parts are 12 V aircon parts. He 
obtained my new dryer/pressure switch unit from NAPA auto parts. It has 
a GM part number! Take your old one down to a large auto-parts store 
and ask them if they have one with the proper gender. Don't worry about 
the fitting itself, any auto aircon shop will have the tool to crimp 
the right hose connector on to your original hoses. They're pretty 
cheap too.
