Hi Gabriel:

Are you sure that your '86 Spider doesn't already have headlight relays (as 
installed at the factory)?  Try listening with the car in the garage, on a 
really quiet night, with the engine off.  I've got an '87, and I can 
readily hear one relay click as I turn the headlights on, and another click 
as I flip to the high beams.  Granted, my '87 is a little different, as it 
has the newer style fuse box (that I think the '86 doesn't), but I'd 
certainly give a good listen before installing relays after the relays.
