[alfa] Headlight issue

My 74 Spider has Carello covers.  I loosened them up in order to wax and
clean.  I find the nut on one of the front hold down clips is stripped and
I'm looking for the easiest way to get at it to replace it.  I also dropped
one of the little rubber spacers that holds the top of the cover into the
fender.  It apparently dropped into a similar area.  I'd like to try to make
the mounting of the whole headlight assembly a little easier but can't see
enough by just removing the back access panel off from inside the fender
well.  Any suggestions from anybody whose BTDT?
