Re:[alfa] mystery fuse holder

Hi John:

My '87 Spider has no A/C, but there is a fuse in the area you describe, and it's for the VVT solenoid. Mine was horribly corroded, so I replaced it with a weatherproof ATC-type fuse holder. If you're looking for something else to do, along those same lines, replace the fuel pump fuse and holder, under the right side of the rear deck. The fuel pump fuse is definitely a reliability issue I'd address on any Bosch Spider.

Can anyone tell me what is protected by the 8A fuse that is tucked
against the front right fender on a Spider Veloce? The fuse holder is
tube-shaped. A/C ?
