Brian gave the correct procedure, as usual, which, if followed, will give 
good results. I got mine done recently by the local glass installer in a half 
hour for sixty dollars, and he moved the inspection sticker from one to the 
other. I provided a good used windshield and, having broken one years ago using the 
rope method, thought I got a bargain.
