I'll have to second Brian's diagnosis. Also, one of the first pieces of 
good advice I got on this list (I don't consider the people telling me 
"yes, replace your daily driver Audi 4kq with a Spider" good advice, 
but that's another story) was to make sure to get an Alfa Romeo 
original labeled part or a new (not rebuilt) Sachs. Though it is kinda 
weird that this just started happening. Has it ever happened before? Do 
you notice it gradually increasing in severity as the car warms up?
