[alfa] Re: Bonneville
John,
Excellent news! It's great to hear that the project is still alive.
The only thing is the big disparity in dates that I am seeing. You say
Aug. 14-20, the streamliner site says Sept. 6th. Uh, so when is it? I
have not been able to locate an official site for speedweek yet (I
believe that's what they call it). Is there more than one event held
there?

Tony,
I am happy to say, YOU SUPPOSE INCORRECTLY. Bonnie, with a large
support
crew, will return to take care of some "unfinished business" . Jim
Steck,
our engine Guru, is building a new more powerful turbo engine based on
a Twin Spark. The Chicago crew, anchored by two of the Besic brothers,
Mike and Darren, are working to make the body lower and smoother. Come
and see us where the Alfa flag flies at Bonneville, August 14-20, 2004.

I don't suppose there is any chance that Bonnie is ever going to make
another run? I lament not making it out there in time to see a blazing
yellow Spider top 200 mph.
Where is Bonnie now?
Anybody else going?
Feelin' salty already,
