[alfa] Spica and pinging

I too would doubt the re-installation of the Spica air box alone would cause
pinging, compared to K&N filters.  Maybe what's happening is you can now
hear the pinging that was there all along, because the Spica box probably
makes the intake a lot quieter than the K&Ns and you can hear problems you
didn't hear before.  Or maybe you're driving different, lugging more,
without the inspirational intake roar.
