[alfa] GTV6 vs Milano diff and trans

I am going to have a qualified friend replace the clutch unit on my 1981
GTV6 soon, with a used unit from a fairly low mile 1989 2.5 Milano. Since my
GTV6 transmission seems marginal on the syncros on both up and down shifts,
which could be just the worn out double disc clutch, would it be worth an
extra $125 to put the unknown condition Milano transmission and differential
in it? I believe the gear ratio would be a bit different, and probably would
not gain the LSD, but the Milano is only 95M miles verses 160M on the GTV6,
which will surely need the input shaft bushing that the Milano probably
doesnt.

Any suggestions are much appreciated, and if anyone needs parts off a pretty
nice 89 Milano, I pulled quite a few today and lots are left.
