[alfa] Braking Problems - 86 Graduate

Apparently to pay homage to the last scene in every other CHiPs
episode, my Graduate has decided to take away its brakes now and then.
It seems to be OK when I start driving but then after a while, I'll
brake and the pedal will go soft (no resistance and it goes all the way
to the floor) so it doesn't start braking until I start pumping it --
frantically. I noticed it happened one time after I'd been driving but
didn't brake for a while (on an expressway with no traffic). Another
time was on a particularly hot day in stop and go traffic. The brake
master cylinder has been replaced in the last 5 years or so.

I wanted to run this by the list to see if anyone had any
recommendations for trouble shooting.

By the way, thanks to those who responded to my plea for finding a
throttle rod end. I ended up contacting the Besics in Glen Ellyn, IL.

Take care and thanks.
