If you have Adobe Acrobat, the following works:

1.  Set default printer to Acrobat PDF writer or Acrobat Distiller
2.  Start up the CarDisc reader, go to the page you want to enlarge
3.  Click the print button.

The page will pop up in the PDF Reader.  You can now zoom in using the
Reader's tools.  This trick is sometimes helpful in clarifying small text.
But, it seems that the images were scanned at a pretty low resolution in
the first place.
