Steal? Actually Apple paid common shares of stock for the technology. 
Microsoft agreed to a licensing agreement on Truetype fonts with Apple 
in exchage for key technologies. Apple believed that Microsloth 
couldn't make it work with DOS. So they entered a deal to try to break 
Adobe's grip on postscript technology.
