[alfa] Concorso Italiano Traffic
Actually its best to get there late. I arrived at 12pm and waited maybe 15 min to get into the parking area. Ended near the exit and was glad.
As I walked down towards the entrance, I noticed this field had the consistency of oatmeal and much of it was dusty. As I got to the ticket area, a black Lamborghini Murciolago had the unfortunate luck of driving his stead in this mess. His sills which stick out like running boards were filled with dirt.
As an owner of two Fiat 500s and a 79 Spider, I was keen to locate a great example to get some restoration hints. Sadly I found only marginal examples. For instance the door rubber seals I wonder how the end is dealt with where the chrome cap is located. All the ones I saw were generally with worn rubber seals. Mine I basically have the rounded rubber fully exposed. I am attempted to superglue it shut to prevent moisture from seeping in.
Here is my favorite car of the show. A rare and very unique Fiat Zagato.

And for you Alfatisi's, a couple of lovely Alfas

There were way too many Ferraris and at least 4 Enzos!
I left at 3:30pm and some may say I left too early. I had enough, and getting out was a breeze. Tailed a Lamborghini Gallardo with a license plate that read "My IRA" with a 360 Modena pretending to ignore it as the Lambo had an annoyingly loud exhaust.
I'm convinced now if I win the lottery not to get the Gallardo and to get the Bentley Coupe. I'm getting towards the age that class is more comfortable than speed.
