i sold a 3.0 ecu to someone w/an early gtwe6 a while
back.  he was pleased w/the results.

ingnition stuff is 
in the fuel ECU in the later cars and I'm wondering if
you put one of 
those ECUs in an earlier car, would that extra
circuitry just be 
along for the ride, or would the fuel portion of the
ECU fail to 
function because it tries to communicate with the
built-in ignition
