Most "truck shop" driveline houses either use an Axiline machine or Meritor  
(Rockwell) DRS(Driveline Remanufacturing System).  The Axiline being one  
machine that you reconfigure for the various operations. DRS being three  separate 
machines
 
Because the DRS uses a dedicated balancer it is much faster.  The DRS  
balancer tops out at about 3600 RPM.  the Axiline system balances at a much  lower 
speed, about 800 RPM as I recall.
