[alfa] re: Speedo Problems
Robert,
There may be a hairline fracture in the flexible circuit. This is tough
to track down; an experienced electronics technician can trace down
the faults with an ohmmeter. I had two fractures, which caused both the
tach and cluster lamps to quit. One fault was at a fold in the flexible
circuit - the other was in the middle of a long flat run. I bridged the
faults with slivers of stranded wire, and very quick soldering
technique; the flexible circuit melts very easily.

Subject: [alfa] Speedo Problems
I recently have been experiencing problems with my speedo. I've had
is pulled, checked and put back in. The speedo works for awhile and
then goes dead. Do I check the sending unit, cables or what? Anyone
have any suggestions?
