[alfa] Value and insurance companies

I have been reading the insurance and value posts with
some interest. Reminds me of the art world and
insurers. Every time I have tried to have art work
appraised for insurance purposes, I have known more
about the work in question than the supposed expert
does and he typically then wants to charge me for the
time it takes him to read up on the artist so that he
can offer an "expert"opinion. 

For what it's worth, my experience with State Farm
Insurance has been uniformly bad--fraudulent, even (on
their part). I have taken my business elsewhere.

Here's hoping none of us have to worry about insurance
connected with our Alfas.
