[alfa] 1988 Milano 3.0 Verde F/S
Milano 3.0 1988. Excellent mechanical condition for its age - recent timing
belt and full driveshaft replacement - car drives very well - newer tires on
"wineglass" wheels - original wheels also included (out of round but
repairable). 125k miles. Recent front end work - some bushings and ball
joints done. Recent used ABS pump and new accumulator and ABS seems to
function well. Car was garaged until last few years. The red paint is really
shot - I think paint on roof hood and trunk was factory defective so on the
roof there is surface rust. Body itself looks very good with the exception of
minor rust coming through on the bottom of the rear wheel arches. Car also
had a slight bump to the rear so the right rear quarter is pushed in. Inside
is decent but not great - passenger Recaro cloth is ripped and rear headrest
show effects of sun. All in all this is a SOLID mechanical car. Car has
always been well maintained with all service done preofessionally (Continental
Garage)and synthetic oil always used. Engine is excellent and does not use
significant oil. The problem frankly is the car looks bad due to the paint
and some body work that is needed. An excellent project car for someone who
has a good body man or can do it themselves. Car is located in Connecticut.
Car is stock except for Ansa rear exhaust and Koni shocks. Car is fast and
drives and handles very well. Asking $1,500.00. e-mail me at
[email protected] or leave message for Paul at 203-248-8074. Would like
to move it before winter sets in. Thanks!!!
