So I am progressing quickly (hah!) on my restoration. The car is at bare
metal and will get painted in about 2 weeks. So I need to finalize my paint
choice and order materials for the interior!
Q1: All the information I have indicates that AR-303 is the same color as
AR-501, just that the numbering changed in the late 60's. But my information
is not definitive. Does anyone know for sure? Does anyone have a car with
it's original AR-303 paint? You can see more on my investigation into this
here:

I just don't want to paint my car AR-501 and find out later that AR-303 is a
different color after all!
Q2: Did Alfa use specific seat and carpet color combinations in the 60s or
was it completely random mix-and-match? My car has 'anthracite' (dark gray)
seat covers now but the carpet was replaced. What color carpet was
originally used along with the anthracite seats?
Also, Elvira claims my interior was originally black... and I am considering
changing to black seats... what color carpet was used with those? Does
anyone know a source for the 'proper' color combinations?
I know some will consider these questions overly 'concorso', but I think
that if I like the original and proper color combos, I might as well use
them properly instead of randomly changing!
Thanks,
Carl
