This is somewhat off-topic, but it has to do with the sentiments and
leanings of the Alfa Digest subscribers, so it is, in that way,
somehow pertinent.
I have noticed that there is a strong tendency of list members here to
prefer Moto Guzzis over Ducati, Laverda, and so forth. There is a
general dislike of Harleys, it seems, and I understand why, though I
have a special place in my heart for the thingsb I love them. But
regardless, Guzzis over Ducatis. This has come up at least twice
before on this list. I know nothing about import scooters, but have
discovered that I quite like old Cafe Racers, and may pick up a basket
case sometime soon.
In the interest of knowledge, I ask why everyone likes Guzzis so much.
