[alfa] liner seals

Normally the O rings are fine to seal the liners in the block, but it does
happen that water gets past the O ring and the liner, and into the
crankcase. The liners are supposed to be a hand-fit, not press fit, so
they're not really doing the sealing; the O ring does the sealing. There
was a dicussion some time ago about using sealer of some kind on the liner
bases when the sealing surface in the block had corrosion, etc. It's not
uncommon, especially on the older blocks, and ones run without antifreeze.
