interesting. my 74 gtv had both sets of hard points, but the outer ones were
much further up on the fender well than i expected; it took me a while to find
them.

no shoulder harness plate on mine. the thing to do in this case is probably use
a very large piece of steel bar stock under the package shelf to insure that
the load is spread out properly.
