Hi Brian:

There are quite a few variations of top boots out there.  Some are just a 
basic vinyl cover to hide the top and frame, while others are semi-rigid, 
with lockable storage behind the seat.  From the factory, the basic version 
came with the "Graduate" or entry-level Spider's, while the deluxe came 
with the "Quad" Spider's.  IMO, no top boot is going to offer any real 
security for valuables stored behind the seat, and I've got a basic top 
boot for each of my Spider's.  If you're looking for a basic version, 
that's of good quality vinyl, try:

If I recall, their boots are ~$150-175, and are available in black or tan.
