Re: [alfa] TZ terminology
Prior to W.W.II, W.W.I was referred to as "The war to end all wars" or as
"The Great War."
Perhaps what is important in this issue (the names for the various Spiders
with round tails) is how to easily identify which vehicle one is referring to.
The reason being is the structural and mechanical differences - suspensions,
engines, fuel delivery methods. When I see or hear Duetto, I assume that the
vehicle being referenced is an early 1600 with carbs. Likewise for the 1750
round tail I would expect Spica and 14" wheels. Of course my perspective has
been from the USA, so I would have to ask "is the vehicle a US or Euro spec?"
The point is, how we communicate clearly.
