[alfa] 74 spider alignment

Digesters:
I've spent a fair amount of time rebuilding the front end of the spider with all new rod ends, ball joints, bushings, etc. - full disassembly/re-assembly. Took her in to be aligned and the shop was unable to get the steering wheel straight. It is 90 degrees off center. The final numbers on the alignment machine look good. The rods are all evenly spaced - meaning that there is an equal amount of threads visible on the ends of the track and steering rods. OK - I figured it had to do with disassembly/re-assembly of the front end even though everything was put together as it came apart. I took the steering wheel off thinking I could re-locate it to the proper position but it is keyed. Any suggestions as to what may be out of place here or how to re-center the wheel???

Two final comments:
All of the suspension parts were bought from Centerline and are FRAP with Lemfroder bushings- their front end rebuild kit has every necessary bit and is a good deal. Removing the steering wheel the easy way - get a steering wheel removal tool (Sears) using the proper metric bolts to screw in to the hub. Tighten everything up to where the tool is exerting force toward pulling the wheel off. Use plenty of liquid wrench or other penetrant. Then use an air hammer on the center bolt of the removal tool to vibrate the wheel off. Worked great!

Thanks
Frank
