 Hi fellow Binders,  I read the posts about rear axle wrap up. My brother owned a '78 Br**co with a 4" suspension lift. When he would just get going you could see the pinion raise up about 2 inches!  And in reverse it would dip down at least 1 inch.  My 5.0 Mustang had a problem with "Wheel hop" after I put the bigger rear-end in. I installed South Side Lift Bars. They bolt in place of your lower control
arms. They take your center of lift and change it. Basically pushing your tires down onto the pavement harder. They make them for many applications, (leaf springs included). I don't know about IH's though. Also, the Southside bars have solid steel bushings instead of rubber ones. Thus, you don't have crushing of the rubber bushings. They pick up road noise because the steel doesn't insulate and they ride rough. But, hey if ya want the front tires up ! I imagine polyurethane bushings in the leaf springs would help. They won't crush like rubber. You could always go the serious drag racer trick of welding ladder bars up to under the doors :)      sorry to ramble,
