I'm having a fit over my rear window electrical mechanism. It just went
dead, I have tested the motor and it runs when directly powered--both
directions. Can I replace the whole thing with a mechanical crank? If
so, where might I find one? BTW, I have a spare electrical setup
including arms, motor, etc.
Also, does NE1 know what the relay (in the rear window electrical
circuit) is for--that is mounted at the bottom of the steering column
inside the cab? It has no marks on it and is silver 1"x3/4"x1". Could a
failure here cause a problem with my rear window? BTW, the rocker switch
on the dash tests good.
