RE: [OLDIHC:] Re: [ihc] wheels, axles...more.

Dave,
Here is a link to a picture of a B130 with singles on the rear. The
picture on the page is small and meant for dial-up users or people who
are only mildly interested. If you click on the picture you get one that
is 1.4MB and has enough detail to be able to zoom in and look at the lug
nuts on the rear axle.

My two cents worth on your dilemma is to use the dually rims and either
run duals in the rear with a flat bed or singles in the rear with some
spacers. I'd look for used tires and rims. You'll probably find used
tires in the $30-$50 dollar a piece range.

...but only at the tread section. The sidewall bulge doesn't look like
it
clears:

And different tires have different tread and sidewall widths, even among
the same sizes...

And from the outside:

Not to bad, but the rear clearance, or lack there of, worries me about
new
tires.

Yep, according to tirerack, the section width (sidewall bulge to
sidewall
bulge) is 9" for the tire I'm looking at, on a 6.5" rim. That puts it
about 1" wider then the tire pictured. They don't have a tread width
measurement, though.

Hmm.
