[ihc] Advice needed

Digesters,
I am in need of some sage advice.

Im the webmaster of another IH email list. 

One of my listers (Lister1) sold a Scout to another of my listers (Lister2). 
They have bought and sold from each other before for about 2 or 3 years.

Lister2 refuses to pay Lister1 for this Scout. 
Lister2 said Lister1 scr@wed him in a previous deal, so he is keeping the 
Scout.
Lister2 is offering to sell IH vehicles and parts to all on my IH email list, 
Ive seen his posts. (Selling is allowed on the list)
Lister2 will not respond to my emails/posts asking him to contact me. 
All my info is from Lister1, I dont know Lister2 that well.


Lister1 says I should warn everyone on the list that Lister2 is a thief, 
since he is trying to sell stuff.
Lister1 has un-subscrib-ed to my IH email list over this, and he is a 
longtime friend, and very honest IMHO.
Lister1 has contacted the proper authorities, and is awaiting resolution.

Dilemma:
I feel that I have a duty to notify my listers about this.
I can post an email for everyone to see on the list, but wouldnt that be 
libelous?
Am I jumping the gun here?
Should I send Lister2 an email demanding a response and threatening to remove 
him if he doesnt respond?
Should I just stay out of it?
Any other suggestions/advice would be appreciated.
