Richard, just thought you might like to know that there are still quite a
few sprints in OZ. Most of these are of the later model fitted with the 1.7
because as you said the early cars rusted worse than the early suds. Also
some people have fitted quad cam 1.7lt engines to suds and sprints with
great results. The sprint body was also turned into a mid engined sports car
by a company in queesland. Unfortunalty powered by holdens 308 V8 (a
pathetic engine). They only sold about 12 however the cars where fast and I
have see some still on the roads today.
