RE: [alfa] [Alfa] market flops



Even the original Alfasud (series 1,2, or 3) are fantastic cars. The 1.5L
single cam boxer engines really thrive on revs, and the handling is awsome,
even with standard shocks. Although the 33 is based on the Alfasud, it is
a completely different animal to drive. I've not driven a Sprint though, but
I would imagine that it would be almost the same as driving the 'sud: agile,
brisk, and very chuckable into corners! Alfasud's are probably just as rare
as sprints, if not rarer due to the rust.

Good Alfasud Sprints come up FS here in Oz occasionally.  They certainly
were a great looking car, probably a little too close in styling to the 116
coupe though as people (non-Alfiste) often get the two confused.
