Thats right Paul, he was in a top speed comp (well over 300k)  when he just
seemed to loose control and hit the wall at the end of the straight.
Considering the front of the car was at the A pillar it wasnt suprising that
the driver was killed. I believe thats why they stoped drag racing at
eastern creek and if you saw on rpm(OZ motorspot show) last week they have
just opened up a huge new drag complex in sydney. Im not into drag racing as
such however there is a strong market for it in OZ and you Americans seem to
love it.
