[alfa] test for TA for 74 Spica Spider?

    Greetings.  As I'm in the process of bringing the above back to life
after a long period of storage, it seems that the TA is stuck in the rich
position, according to the mechanic.  I have what should be a good spare
from a 74 also.  Is there a test I can do on it before I send it off (out of
state), like immersing it in hot water or something?  TIA, Ron.
