Tabucchi gives the following serial number ranges. note that he does list
1975 models, which is a suprise to me, because i was unaware of any.
this may be a mismatch between US practice for model year starts and
Italian record keeping practices.

1972:   115.01  AR*3020001     to       AR*3020951
                      AR*3021501     to       AR*3021717
1973:   115.01  AR*3021718     to       AR*3022800
1974:   115.01  AR*3023001     to       AR*3023900
1975:   115.01  AR*3025901     to       AR*3027089
