No, this is not normal. Something is probably dragging.

Did you replace the flex hoses when you did the brakes? You could have one
that is collapsed internally and is holding pressure when it gets warm. They
act like a one way check valve. As strange as it seems, I've seen this on
several occasions.

I've also had problems with the rear calipers on our race car. ('73 Spider)
The last time I rebuilt the calipers I had to disassemble the goofy
retraction mechanism inside the rear pistons and mess with it to get them to
work properly and not drag.

But, always check the simple things first. 9 times out of 10 it is something
silly.

I rebuilt my brakes this past winter.  Everything is working fine, but
the rear wheels get hot after a 30 minute drive.  The fronts are warm.
The rear wheels get dusty sooner than the fronts too.  Is this typical
Alfa, or should I be concerned.
