If the Milano is the same as the GTV-6 in regards to this particular 
detail, there's a threaded stop, adjustable from under the front of 
the back seat, which acts on the very front of the transaxle and is 
meant to keep the rear donut from contacting the tunnel on a hard 
launch.  Mine required adjustment after I replaced all my drivetrain 
rubber in late '99, but I'm not sure why, unless it has to do with 
having a new (firmer) rear transaxle mount.
