[alfa] What's the buzz, tell me what's a happenin

My shift lever (85 Spider) is beginning to get annoying.  It has developed a high pitched metallic buzz.  Only makes the noise in gear.  Neutral, no noise.  Pushing on the lever quiets it, but I can still feel the vibration to some degree.  The noise seems to be coming from just below the leather shift boot.  Any suggestions? Thanks.
