Well, yes. Some passion is required to own these cars.

So, as above, that would be 70000 miles I gather. My understanding is that
the current recommendation is to change the belt at approx 40K miles (60K
kms). If you still have it then, get it done.

Could be. The common method is to put an apprentice in the boot with a
torch, close it, and then drown the area until you find the leak (or drown
the apprentice :-)). This basically always works. You may need to decide
whether a hill or slope is involved (harder), or a leaking tail light
(easier). Skilled modifications are sometimes required to the sheetmetal
(use clean hands and bend it gently) or the rubber seals.
YMMV.
Good luck with the radio. That is just bad luck. They usually work
forever.
The radiator is a small worry. The engine coolant must be changed every 2
years. When the mechanic says corroded, I gather it had corroded through
and was leaking? Possibly bad luck. Just make sure you now have glycol
based coolant in there.
