Just catching up, but did not see a reply yet. Flywheel bolts are specially
hardened, and a standard grade 8 is NOT appropriate.
Andy Kress at Perfomatek has had ARP, arguably the world's leading high
performance fastener manufacturer,  make them up for the 1300-1750 engines,
and they run about $100 for a set, so that should tell you something about not
buying at the hardware store.  The stock Alfa bolts in that vintage are NLA,
so thank you Andy for going to the trouble of making them up (another good
Alfa vendor). The stock Alfa bolts are excellent quality when still available,
and I know Jon Norman at Alfa Parts carries them for the 2000.  I have not
checked with them for your application, but as it is newer than mine, they
should be available, I would call Jon or Ruth Ann (800) 890-ALFA  and get the
correct bolts.

Does anybody know a good US supplier of Grade 8 or
better metric bolts?  I am mating a Milano Verde
flywheel to a 164L crankshaft, and the bolt
length/pitch combo is not in the USA Alfa parts
inventory. It is a 12 mm dia. x 1.5 mm pitch.

I checked with Alfa suppliers here, nobody has a clue
about them, and I even have friends in Europe looking
for me. Alfa dealers over there are in disagreement as
to whether they exist or not! They better exist, or
all those Verdes wouldn't be on the road.

Help, anybody?
